Human Resources are a critical success component everywhere in the world. Qualified and competent human resources in Ukraine and the former Soviet Union are an immense asset. When operating in this part of the world, you frequently ask yourself:
  • How many and what kind of people will I need?
  • Where exactly should I look for qualified employees?
  • Is there a way to stop the endless trial and error process in selecting local resources?
  • How well does my understanding of the org chart fit with the local traditions and efficiency potential?
Apparently, the easiest way is to place a vacancy classified and then conduct hundreds of interviews. But your time, spent on doing so, will probably be better used for your direct functional responsibilities. There are no guarantees that you won’t get tired along the way, and select not exactly the person most needed and appropriate for your organization. Your goal — to hire the best available — may not be met.

Action Data Group has a unique approach: we use our market research experience and field interviewing skills to look into the labor markets, deploying a multi-layered selection processes to identify those candidates which closely fit your expectations. We do not select applicants based only on their resumes, CVs, and interviews — we carry out small researches on each interesting candidate. Our proprietary data base contains thousands of people who have been screened.

Another significant difference we see in our approach, vs. Employment agencies and the likes, is that we do not expect our clients to necessarily work on the job descriptions, functional responsibilities, compensation schemes, etc. We can and will — if required — take and active participation in lifting this taks off your shoulders.

Our experience is in identify in, recruiting and integrating top management positions, such as:
  • CFO;
  • commercial director;
  • chief bookkeeper;
  • branch director or representation head;
  • CIO;
  • regional representative or area sales manager.
In the case of the latter, you probably know how difficult it is at times to find and recruit in the regions. Skilled people tend to migrate to the capital, but some are still available locally. All employment agencies concentrate in clusters around their clients — which usually are located in capitals, and do not have sufficient resources to go regional.

After hiring, we are ready to become your virtual HR department (or consult the existing HR manager) assisting in team integration, performance evaluations and growth management. What we view as extremely important is NOT keeping our knowledge and techniques to ourselves, but being fully transparent in what and how we do — share our experience with our clients so that when our retainer is completed you won’t be left out in the cold. We pass on everything we create to the existing HR department.
