Categories of studies, commonly performed by Action Data Group with the use of focus group technique, are as follows:
- familiarization with and cultural assessment of consumers;
- idea generation;
- new product development studies;
- positioning studies;
- branding studies;
- attitude and usage studies / satisfaction studies;
- naming and packaging evaluations;
- advertising and promotion development;
- usability testing.
Action Data Group has also used focus group facility to perform:
- internal employee motivational studies;
- sales channels studies;
- assessment and evaluation activities.
The new ADG's focus group facility has 2 rooms, a kitchen and a selection designated area.
The room has comfortable conference-style seating for 12 group participants and is equipped with studio-quality, state-of-the-art audio / visual equipment featuring low noise, clear sound, and three strategically placed video cameras. The special feature of the room is double-pan large size mirrors and acoustically insulated walls for complete soundproofing. The entire facility has individual climate control and autonomous power supply in case of power failure.
Extra care was given to the A/C vents and electronic ballast in the fluorescent lighting to eliminate annoying buzzing or noises on audio/video tapes.
Digitally recorded events are shown to the clients шn a 1/2", 3/4" digital or CD-ROM format to ensure ideal clarity of picture and the sound. Traditional delivery formats (such as audio and/or video tapes) are also available.
The cost for conducting a focus group is from $ 700 to $ 1,200, and includes:
- advertising for participants;
